There’s no sign of stopping the global success of the latest album by the US rapper which is also the soundtrack to the ambitious film ‘Circus Maximus’.
‘Utopia’, the new album by multi-award-winning and certified diamond artist Travis Scott received a nomination for the 2024 Grammy Awards in the “Best Rap Album” category.
‘Utopia’ debuted at number 1 on the Top Album Debut Global Chart, totaling over 128 million streams in just 24 hours. All the tracks on the album entered the Top30 on the global chart.
The album was also preceded by the single ‘K-Pop’, in collaboration with hitmakers Bad Bunny and The Weeknd.
Travis Scott also presented in the U.S. his film ‘Circus Maximus’, a surreal and psychedelic journey, written and directed by the artist himself, that brings together visionary filmmakers (Gaspar Noe, Valdimar Jóhannsson, Nicolas Winding Refn, Harmony Korine, Kahlil Joseph) from all over the world to kaleidoscopically discover the human experience and the power of sounds. The visual journey is accompanied by the enveloping sounds of the new album.
Travis Scott – a eight time Grammy Award-nominated artist, designer, style icon, actor, producer, and founder of the Cactus Jack record label – has changed the course of hip-hop with a series of groundbreaking albums and moves that have sparked discussion.
Last but not least Travis launched the ‘Cactus Jack Foundation’ as a nonprofit with a mission to support Houston youth through charitable initiatives such as toy donations, scholarship programs and funding for education and creative projects.
