LP announces new record ‘Love Lines’ due out September 29th. The upbeat single ‘Golden’ has become a video directed by Stephen Schofield. Check it out!
‘Love Lines’, the new studio album from LP, will be released on September 29 via BMG.
The album contains twelve tracks that offer a deep and reflective look at LP’s life experiences, including loves, family, relationship etc.
Written during sessions held between the island of Grand Cayman and Palm Springs, ‘Love Lines’ encapsulates LP’s unmistakable voice, honest storytelling and no-nonsense rock and roll, combined with heartfelt and unforgettable emotion.
«This is my essence, this is what I’ve been doing all my life, cultivating, trying to understand and comprehend,» says LP.
LP considers songwriting to be their life’s calling, likening it to the art of comedy. «It’s putting someone at ease by helping their mind let go and receive those emotions. At that point the song speaks to their soul in the way they desire.»
LP shared the new single ‘Golden’ in which they sing about beginning to appreciate the lessons learned when you lose a love.
Along with the song, LP premiered the music video directed by their longtime collaborator, Stephen Schofield which features the artist dancing in a classic mid-century California mansion to the song’s upbeat beat, reminiscing about their past relationships and memories alongside hyper-surreal golden models.
