She is a young, beautiful girl from Aachen (Germany), she loves Neo Traditional Tattoos and can’t wait to go back to her studio to start piercing again. Lisa: the floor is yours!…

Hi Lisa, how would you introduce and describe yourself to the readers of Tattoo Life?
Hey! I’m Lisa and I don’t even know how to introduce myself (she smiles, ed)… I’m 25 years old and I live with my family in a small town called Aachen. I’m probably just like you!

When did your passion for ink on skin started? Was it love at first sight?
When I was 16 I wanted to have a tattoo, at that time I dreamed of a leopard print over my shoulder, and I always admired all the tattooed people, it was love at first sight.
I got my first tattoo when I was 18 and from then on I was totally in love.
Who tattooed you and what is your favourite style?
I’ve already been tattooed by many different artists… I couldn’t name anyone who would be my favorite, but my favorite style is neo traditional.

What are your greatest passions, besides tattooing?
I’m a big music lover and could spend hours clicking through youtube and co and discovering new music. I also like to read and write a line or two myself, if the time permits. But I spend most of the time with my family and our pets.
How was your 2020?
2020 was a rollercoaster of emotions, I had to learn to deal with the circumstances that the pandemic brought with it, it was not an easy year, but still a very educational one.

What are doing at the moment and what are you planning for the future?
At the moment I am working on my independence and I am waiting together with my colleagues to be able to reopen our studio “Way of Ink”. I really want to be able to pierce again. There are some new projects coming up in the future, and I’m really excited about what’s in store for me.

Can you name a book, a song, a movie and an artwork that represent you?
Oh, difficult question. I think the book that could best represent me is “MOMO” written by Michael Ende, the song that immediately occurred to me was “The day I die” by The National, I feel this song with every fiber of my body. I find it difficult to find a suitable film, but one of my favorite films is “The notebook”, I think the story represents my belief in love very well. A work of art is easy, I have a tattoo on my right arm with my son’s name between two flowers, that will probably always be the most important Artwork for me.

Is there anything you want to add before we say goodbye?
Yes, gladly. Thank you for the opportunity to appear here. I hope we can all get through this difficult time and wish each of you strength and happiness!
