The most beautiful French promenade of world tattooing! Last weekend, international tattooing stopped off in Paris, at the Grande Halle de La Villette, for one of the conventions considered by tattooists and enthusiasts among the best in the world for quality, attendance and as an all-round event for art, concerts and happenings in general. We take you to discover the Mondial du Tatouage Tattoo Planetarium 2024, first and foremost thanking the great deus ex machina of it all: Tin Tin, who once again gave his best for this edition.
Over 500 tattoo artists were present, divided into lines of booths spread over both the parterre behind the stage and the side galleries above. The public navigated with map in hand, looking for their favourite tattoo artists clearly organised in areas named alphabetically and by booth number.
We took a promenade through tattooing, enjoying first of all the French public, always cool, creative, outgoing and never excessive, we intercepted beautiful girls to present here on our Tattoo Life channels, saw magnificent works in progress and met tattooists that we will soon make you familiar with, such as Sou.TTT, Roberto Carlos of the Cheyenne team, the French tattoo artist Eliot Kohek and Norma Tattoo, Jan Williem from The Netherland.
We were impressed by Moni Scharnagel’s female portraits and the Neo-Traditional work of Daniel Velascos and the beautiful tattoo artist Hanae Tattoo. We enjoyed the tattoo contests, presented with all the grandeur of Paris on the grand stage and projected, with wonderful games of light, onto the mega screens so that we could see what was happening everywhere in the Grande Halle.
The jury ( an established team, as well as the most respected in the industry, i.e. together with Tin-tin, Filip Leu, Kai Barba, Junko Shimada, Luke Atkinson and Marc Mahoney) selected the best of the categories proposed over the three days, of which we report here only the winners of the best of day and best of show, referring you to the official @tattooplanetarium page for all the other award winners.

In the evenings, the contests left room for the great music of the concerts offered by the convention, which on Friday featured the doom metal band Amenra and on Saturday the Hangman’s chair, one of the French reference points in the sludge and stoner genre.
A vibrant three days as usual, a source of inspiration for artists and public as well as an event to be experienced in all its facets. Thanks to Tin Tin from all of us from Tattoo Life, always satisfied in terms of business, but above all for the possibilities of new meetings and new suggestions that this convention provides us every year.
