She is a bar manager in Pittsburgh and she loves makeup. She plays with it on herself, and she loves to help people to feel good with themselves.
Let’s talk with the beautiful Erka about her important tattoo collection and her very well visible passion for horror portraits.
Erika welcome to Tattoo Life! On your Instagram page you describe yourself as: makeup lover, horror fanatic, tattoo collector. Well, let’s talk about these three passions to introduce you to our readers!
Hi! My name is Erika, I’m a 37 year old tattoo lover from the US. Other than my love for the tattoo industry, I have a passion for makeup & have had since I was very young. Not only for myself but for others.
I love making others feel good and confident. I also have a passion for creating, I like to think I have a creative eye.
What do you do for a living and where do you live?
I’m a bar manager from Pittsburgh, PA USA
Just black ink and what else as a stylistic choice?
I have mostly Black & Grey realism work, a few older color pieces. A lot of my body is horror portraits.
Do you like to travel for your tattoo collection?
I stay local, here right in Pittsburgh. The artist that has done most of my work, including all my horror portraits, is Ryan Clark.
How do you choose your tattoo artist?
It took me some time to find MY artist, the artist I knew who could fill my body with beautiful art. I found him on social media 8-9 years ago.
What did you choose for your backpiece?
As mentioned, I have an insane love for horror. So, we went with that! One piece/portrait at a time and just built the back piece.
You are also a testimonial for various products, aren’t you?
I am! I enjoy trying products and promoting the ones I love so much. Including makeup, skincare, and self-care products.
And you also have a passion for dogs it seems!
I do! So much! I have 3 Boston Terriers and a French bulldog.
What do you like to do in your free time?
My family is everything to me, I do the most to spend time with them and my dogs. I also enjoy doing Halloween makeup looks, that’s a huge passion as well!
