In the dark graphic style, black takes the form of fine lines in details and light strokes, as if done in India ink, , and then it fills larger spaces of skin to give solidity to the central subjects.
A game of graphic references in which dynamism is given by the movement of the line and by the consistency of the stroke, which can be more or less thick and more or less compact.
Subjects are often linked to visual worlds in which dark figures collapse on themselves, flowers and botanical elements seem to be left to dry on skin, and frail and thin insects move on empty skin.
We often encounter satanic figures where religious elements are turned upside down by the occult: the eyes of cardinals are void, crosses are reversed and the Black Dark Style shows the best of its sinister face.
