Creativity, entrepreneurship, and an artistic vision that spans the world. Yatzil is more than just a tattoo artist, she describes herself as a businesswoman, a traveler, and an explorer of art in all its forms. With a decade of experience in the tattoo industry, she has worked in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and many other places across North America, Europe, and Asia.

She works at Ganga Tattoo in Los Angeles and her signature style blends the elegance of black and grey fine line with a unique blurry or 3D effect, creating tattoos that seem to come to life on the skin. For her, tattooing is more than just a technical process—it’s an experience of connection with her clients, a flow of ideas and mutual trust that transforms each project into a deeply meaningful work of art.

But who is Yatzil beyond the tattoo machine? Let’s find out in this interview.
I am a creator, a lifelong artist and I consider myself an entrepreneur, a business woman and of course I am a tattoo artist.
I love photography: taking pictures and modeling.
I am very passionate about tattooing, painting and writing all my thoughts. I also love sports, having an active life. One of my biggest passions are animals and my dog Ziara.
I have spent 10 years in the tattoo industry working in different cities around the world, but being present mainly in Mexico City, LA, Canada and Northern Mexico.
I tattoo at Ganga Tattoo LA but I frequently do guest spots around the world.

I have tattooed in Asia, Europe, North and South America. After opening my studio in Hermosillo, Mexico, 5 years ago, and the one in Mexico City, I am planning to open another one in the near future.

My signature style is a unique blurry of 3D style and black and grey fine line work. It is something I really enjoy doing. I always like to have an exchange of ideas with my clients to ensure we agree on the final design.

I try to be the most sincere person so that they feel confident and comfortable, hoping that this trust allows us to flow together when making the design.
I try to have a genuine exchange of energy with my customers, all coming from the love I feel for what I do. I aim to give them the right amount of trust so that they feel in an environment of confidence and that way they can enjoy the process, since it is not just any process. They have to trust the person on the other side, and I want to be that person for them.
