Hello everybody! Could you introduce AMC Tattoo Studio to our readers?
AMC Tattoo Studio is an exclusive tattoo shop, focused on delivering high-quality tattoos in a modern environment. We don’t work with mass processing; instead, we create an immersive tattoo experience for our clients.
It’s not just about getting a tattoo—it’s about the whole journey.
Where in Frankfurt is the studio located, and what kind of clientele do you attract?
The studio is located in Germany, right in the heart of beautiful Frankfurt am Main, just five minutes away from the city centre. Our clients are people who seek quality over quantity. We have had Bundesliga football players such as Wout Weghorst and Nnamdi Collins, as well as Kim Kalicki, the Women’s Bobsleigh World Cup winner, and various influencers among our customers.
Who founded the studio, and when did it open?
AMC Tattoo Studio opened in October 2021. The concept behind it is a blend of high-quality tattooing, exclusive interior design, and strict hygiene standards.
What styles of tattoos do you specialize in, and how many tattoo stations do you have? How do you select the artists who work here?
We have four workstations, and we carefully select our artists based on the quality of their work and their ability to connect with clients. The healed results of their tattoos are a crucial factor in our selection process.
Do your artists cover all tattoo styles?
We cover almost all tattoo styles, including realism, micro-realism, dotwork, fineline, and color tattoos. However, our specialty is realistic tattoos—we are especially known for our perfect lion and portrait tattoos.
Do you accept walk-ins, or do you work by appointment only?
We work by appointment only.
What kind of atmosphere does the studio have? What about the interior design and music?
The studio has a relaxed atmosphere since we never rush our work. The music is a carefully curated mix, chosen to suit all customers, rather than just one specific genre.
The space is modern and open, covering almost 200 square meters.
Every detail, from the tattoo area to the lounge, features high-quality furnishings. We also have a smoking lounge inside, so clients don’t have to step outside.
Can you introduce the tattoo artists in your team?
Korina – The shop manager, responsible for handling all requests and consultations.
Sorin – Specializes in realistic tattoos, especially portraits and animal portraits.
Roby – Loves working on large-scale projects where he can blend different elements and add intricate details.
Emyl – Also specializes in realism, with a focus on dark art. His work often features women’s faces combined with eerie, horror-inspired elements.
Ilya – A realism specialist, passionate about tattooing women’s portraits with his unique artistic touch.
Besides these core artists, we also have specialists in anime, fineline, and other styles. However, realism remains our primary strength.
Do you travel as a team to tattoo conventions?
So far, we haven’t had the opportunity to attend conventions as a team since the studio is still quite new—only three years old. But we hope to participate in events soon, including the Frankfurt Tattoo Convention.
Do you have a motto or a phrase that represents AMC Tattoo Studio?
Our motto is “More than just a tattoo!”—because this is at the heart of everything we do.
