Seven Doors London, one of the most established and respected tattoo shops on the international tattoo scene has reached the 10-year anniversary mark. The melting pot of ideas opened by Jondix and Deno in buzzing East London immediately became a “place to be” for tattoo artists and tattoo collectors.
The turnover of artists over the years has always been an addition to innovation, with natural changes – as it always happens in tattoo shops – and the entry of new talents who then turn out to be true talents. The anniversary party celebrating this milestone was recently held, and we enjoyed it together with the artists and Jondix himself.
Seven Doors Tattoo was opened to the public in January 2014. Time flies and it feels like it was yesterday. Many good artists worked here and improved their skills in the shop and some even opened their own shops. We did great art exhibitions and music events, Paolo Girardi, Estás Tonne, James Floid, and everyone has guested or visited here even Ed Hardy, Filip Leu, TinTin, Freddy Corbin, Eddie Deutsche, Robert Hernandez, an endless list of events and activities during the last decade.
But right now we think our shop crew is more dynamical than ever with Deno and Jondix still owners and working every month and then Andrea Furci and Raf Delalande “Dark Blackwork” both since the beginning plus Jess Martucci doing the most beautiful Japanese oriental style and Fabio Wyrdian, Manu Santana and Gianluca Fusco creating madness.
And the young Ryan fond of traditional old school who will be big in the future too with James Lovegrove. And we have many regular guests like Capro, Alex Travers, Deni, Juls, Chloe, Nicole, Anna Tigertitz…
The anniversary party was amazing with Igor Cavalera of Sepultura creating a great DJ set of Industrial and Metal pieces in a tasty crescendo!
We had the nicest print exhibition of Henry Lewis and Isabella with superb fantastic art never seen before!
And also Sway brought some of his porcelain creations almost incredible for a tattooist to do something so different!
The Coffee brewery of Dark Arts were in the shop letting everyone taste their products and selling a nice box designed by Deno for the occasion together with a huge blanket still available at the shop online.
The shop also did new merch stickers pins etc to mark this important 10 years of hard work and sacrifice and giving quality to the London tattoo scene.
This year 2024 some of us will be present at the major conventions and at more local ones. See you in London or around the world!
